Dr. Bailey is an anesthesiologist and assistant professor at Dalhousie University. He completed his anesthesia training, masters in epidemiology and regional anesthesia fellowship at Dalhousie University. His clinical and research interests include acute pain, regional anesthesia, education, and global health. He has examined the effects of regional anesthesia on pain and patient outcomes through multiple methods including randomized control trials, database studies, metanalyses, cadaver studies, and pre-clinical models.
