Dr. Melody Anderson (Herman) serves as the Director of Regional Anesthesiology at Atrium Health’s Carolinas Medical Center (CMC), the region’s only Level 1 trauma hospital. She completed her residency at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital and RAAPM fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Anderson established an innovative RA-POCUS collaboration with the Emergency Medicine Ultrasound Division at CMC. She is an active faculty member for ASRA, ASA, ESRA, ISURA, and AOSRA conferences and enjoys creating concise, educational videos on regional anesthesia and POCUS.
