Nibras Bughrara, MD, FCCM, FASA is a Professor of Anesthesiology and Critical Care and Vice Chair of Education in the Department of Anesthesiology at Albany Medical College. He also serves as the Division Chief of Anesthesia Critical Care and is the Founder and Director of the Critical Care Echocardiography Program at Albany Medical Center. A nationally recognized leader in Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) and critical care echocardiography, he has pioneered innovative POCUS protocols for shock management, resuscitation, and perioperative care.
