Dr. Jane Colish, MD, FRCPC, is a consultant anesthesiologist in Nanaimo, British Columbia and an assistant clinical professor with the University of British Columbia. She completed in her anesthesia residency at McGill University (Montreal, Quebec), and went on to do her regional anesthesia fellowship under the tutelage of Dr. Vishal Uppal at Dalhousie University (Halifax, Nova Scotia). Dr. Colish considers the advocacy for/development of robust regional anesthesia programs in community hospital settings one of her personal passion projects.
