Sylvia Wilson, MD

Sylvia Wilson is a Professor in the Department of Anesthesia and Perioperative Medicine at MUSC in Charleston, SC. She currently serves as Chief for the Division of Regional Anesthesia, Endowed Chair for Clinical Research, and Vice Chair for Research. Her research interests include optimization of regional anesthetic techniques and non-opioid analgesics. She is also committed to anesthesia education and volunteers as both an applied examiner with the ABA and as the Chair for ASRA’s Educators in Regional Anesthesia SIG.
